Quality Management System (QMS)
Viridian Systems has been certified as an ISO 9001
Quality Management System company since 1998.
ISO 9001 certification defines requirements for all key
processes in design, manufacture and distribution, such
as monitoring manufacturing to ensure production of
quality products; keeping records; checking outgoing
product for defects; reviewing individual processes and
the quality system itself for effectiveness; and facilitating
continual improvement. In achieving certification to ISO
9001, Viridian Systems dedicated itself to:
- Consistently replicating processes, procedures and
documentation, which assures consistency in quality
products and services
- Implementing a formal process for complaint
resolution, which can enhance the strength of a
company’s warranty program and validates its intent
to review and resolve all warranty issues
- Performing a customer survey with all warranted
sales, which provides clients with a voice to rate all
aspects of the company’s performance

Environmental Management System (EMS)
Since 2007, Viridian Systems has been utilizing the tools
of ISO 14001 certification to manage their environmental
impact and to improve their operational performance.

only produces high-quality products, but that it does
so in a safe, responsible manner. An EMS provides a
solid framework for meeting environmental challenges
and operating a business responsibly. ISO 14001 EMS
certification promotes:

- A more efficient use of energy and raw materials,
resulting in less waste
- Dependence on a system rather than the capabilities

Federal Guidelines: “Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management”
Executive Order 13423 requires all federal agencies to follow guidelines to increase their
environmental performance. Viridian Systems follows the same guiding principles as
established in the Executive Order, operating its business “in an environmentally,
economically and fiscally sound, integrated, continuously improving, efficient and
sustainable manner.”
The International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 14000 series has become the model
for developing an EMS and the supporting audit program. Achieving ISO 14001 certification
